Eligibility & Qualification

Candidates aspiring to join as an AIIMS Nursing Officer must meet the following criteria:

Qualification:

• B.Sc Nursing / B.Sc (Hons) Nursing / Post Basic B.Sc from a recognized university or college + registration with the Indian or State Nursing Council. OR
• Diploma in General Nursing & Midwifery (GNM) + registration with Indian or State Nursing Council + minimum 2 years of experience in a 50-bedded hospital.

Age Limit:

• General: 18 to 30 years
• OBC: +3 years relaxation
• SC/ST: +5 years relaxation
• Government employees: As per NOC & rules.

Reservation:

• 80% posts for women
• 20% posts for men

Prelims

• 100 questions (MCQs)
• 80 questions – Nursing
• 20 questions – Non-Nursing
• Duration - 90 Minutes
• Negative Marking - 1/3
• CBT Based Exam Divided in 5 Sections, 20 MCQs/18 Minutes Per Section

Mains

• 160 questions (MCQs) – All from Nursing
• Purely nursing-focused paper
• Duration - 180 Minutes\
• Marks - 160
