Educational Qualification & Experience

To apply for the Nursing Officer (Group B, Level-7 Pay Scale) post, candidates must meet one of the following qualification routes:

Option 1 – B.Sc Nursing Route

• B.Sc (Hons.) Nursing / B.Sc Nursing from an INC-recognized Institute or University OR B.Sc (Post Certificate) / Post-Basic B.Sc Nursing from an INC-recognized Institute or University
• Must be Registered as Nurse & Midwife with the State/Indian Nursing Council

Option 2 – GNM Route

• Diploma in General Nursing Midwifery (GNM) from an INC-recognized Institute/Board/Council
• Must be Registered as Nurse & Midwife with the State/Indian Nursing Council
• Must have 2 years of experience in a minimum 50-bedded hospital after obtaining the qualification

Note: Experience must be post-qualification and backed by an official certificate mentioning hospital bed strength and issue date.

Age Relaxation (as per UP Government Rules):

• SC/ST/OBC (UP Domicile): Up to 5 years
